iPhone 8/8+

iPhone 8/8+

Date Written: 9/21/2017

On September 12th, Apple announced the latest models in the iPhone series, the iPhone 8 and the iPhone 8+. They are set to be released on September 22. They have a glass back which allows for wireless charging and will be released with the latest version of iOS, iOS 11. For the most part the design is similar to last year's models (iPhone 7/7 Plus), but there are improvements to the hardware which makes the phone faster, have a better camera, and it has an improved screen.

The differences between the 7/7 Plus and the 8/8 Plus might not be enough for some people to upgrade, but there is a big jump from older models to the 8. There is also the new iPhone X to consider which will be released after the 8/8 Plus. The iPhone X is the top model of the iPhone series and those looking for the very best (and not scared off by the higher price tag), might want to wait to pick up this model.

The 8 and 8+ aren't ground breaking devices, but they're good devices that will get the job done.
