On September 6th, LG announced their newest smartphone, the LG V20. It was officially released in South Korea on 9/29 and in the US on 10/21. It is priced as a high end device and is set to compete directly with other top of the line devices such as the Google Pixel, Samsung Galaxy phones, and iPhones.

So what are the features that this phone offers that get people excited? First, it has a removable battery which used to be more commonplace but has disappeared over the years from most phone lines. It also has an microSD card slot which makes it easier for users to store more information. The phone gives users a ton of settings and control for recording audio which allows them to record audio at a quality that you don't see with other devices. If recording audio is a big part of what you use your phone for then you'll definitely want to check the V20 out.

Based on reviews and hands on experience the LG V20 is seen as good phone. However, the common theme seems to be that when compared side by side with other high end devices it falls a little short of the competition. Now, there is definitely a market for the phone as it does offer a handful of features that make it different than other phones and if you are someone looking for one of these features then you'll probably love the LG V20. But, if you are simply looking for the best high end phone then you may find that this is not the phone for you.
