Samsung recently announced the latest in the Samsung Galaxy S phone series with the S6 and the S6 Edge. They are set to be available on April 10, 2015 and will run the Android 5.0 'Lollipop' operating system. The two models will be very similar, with the biggest difference being that the S6 Edge's screen will curve slightly on both the left and right edge. This gives the phone an impressive look and opens up some additional functionality for displaying information. The feedback since the announcement has been overwhelmingly positive. Samsung included an improved camera, a new, more powerful chipset and they used better quality build materials for the device which addresses one of the biggest complaints of previous models where people would say the devices felt cheap. There are a few drawbacks with these new models. The battery is no longer removable, the microSD slot is gone and there are concerns about the durability of the device and it's battery life. More information will come in about the durability of the device and the performance of the battery life once more people get their hands on the device. Both of these concerns may end up going away quickly, but they are definitely something to monitor.
